Glimpses Of My Life

I had the pleasure of working with Lehua for 6 months this year. After having been really, unwell for 2 years, I needed support in rehabilitating myself, supporting my body as much as possible and rebuilding healthy habits.

Lehua provided a supportive space for me to explore how I could improve my diet and life rhythms and kept me accountable so that I could continually fine tune how I support and nourish myself.

I went from being on anti-depressants, not being able to have a consistent sleep routine, eating routine or exercise routine. To creating my own daily meditation and exercise accountability group, to eating regular meals and understanding what my body needs to thrive through diet, to ditching the anti-depressants and feeling confident in the structures that I have in place to ensure as much success as possible in my health and wellbeing.

What I liked the most about working with her was her willingness to adapt to me, (I wasn’t always so easy to work with) and to her continual encouragement. She shared a genuine love, care and kindness towards my success and that was felt throughout our time together. Often going above and beyond to check in with me and to ensure that I knew, that she was available for me and more importantly, invested in my success.

Sometimes when you’re in crisis, the other side seems like it is unobtainable. I was moved to tears when the day came that I was able to sit with Lehua and reflect on how far I had come this year, from where I started and how everything that I had wanted has been created. Life has been incredibly challenging for me and knowing that I had support meant the world to me.

Lehua is a light worker, and I do not say this lightly.

As a holistic coach, she addressed my (seemingly) superficial concerns from the inside out, unraveling the web of confusion that had progressively enveloped me over the last many years.

The goal was never to get my 35 year old body back, but to age up with strength, vigor and beauty.  I love my life, I love my goals and how I'm making my dreams come true.

Lehua helped me find clarity in the overwhelming well of information around pregnancy and post-partum.

The sheer clarity of the content she provided was very helpful to guide me in the right direction.

Besides the useful information provided in each session itself, Lehua has condensed an immeasurable valuable list of resources around the topic, from books to podcasts and documentaries by respected specialists in the field. For someone who does things last minute like me, this has saved me an enormous amount of time. These content lists have been a lifeboat in preparing for the arrival of my daughter.

Through this work I’ve come to appreciate the importance of slowing down and accepting that I need to take time on a different scale.

I’d suggest this work to all new mothers out there, as the journey through pregnancy and post-partum can be daunting and lonely. What best way to start this path than with a health coach who is a mother herself? 

VITA was an opportunity to be taken care of, connect with other like minded mothers, and mother in community.

I loved being in nature together, the simplicity of the days, and all the love and compassion in the air.

It was a wonderful experience for me and Madalena. It felt that time had stopped to let us reconnect and enjoy each other exclusively and peacefully with no rush.

I got the opportunity to cry my sorrows in the morning, rest and play in the afternoon, and think about my life, my projects and in what makes me happy, in the evenings.

I loved the location, it was stunning, waking up in the morning listening to the birds, the horses, surrounded by green and beautiful flowers, I felt blessed.

Loved to be surrounded by other women that in completely different ways also had the passion and concerns about themselves and their children.

It was a turning point for me. It was like I had time to face myself, acknowledge what I am today. That I am not the same as I was 10 or 20 years ago, embrace it and find ways to improve where needed in a conscious and healthy process.

I had zero expectations of the days spent at the VITA retreat other than a heartfelt wish to support my dearest friend in this wonderful new venture and to deeply enjoy the time with my daughter. It turned out that one of my biggest dreams as a mother was fulfilled, one that I didn’t even realise was so strong.

For my soul to be surrounded and cradled by like minded mothers. Not only finding this community of mothers, but also getting a chance to spend days and not only hours with them was nourishing to my soul in a way that goes far beyond these words.

It has been vital in re energising my belief system and the way I see my mothering journey.

It was a time and space for deep presence and attuning to my child - away from daily responsibilities.

Also, a beautiful opportunity to be surrounded by a tribe of mothers sharing similar values and approach to parenting. Reassuring and encouraging!

An opportunity to connect with a community of mothers but also to connect with your self.

A place to slow down and reflect on your journey of motherhood whilst still enjoying time and experiences with your little one.

One which feels so completely soft, and right to the soul. To feel held, to feel seen and nourished, and all with your babe at your side. Beautiful simplicity in an incredible setting. One huge exhale.

It's a rare thing to find a space for mothers and babas to simply be, Lehua is a natural space holder who brings authentic sweetness to everything she does.

The retreat was very well thought out and a total treat to my busy mama toddler life, my body and soul was very grateful to have said yes to this 🤍🙏🏼

It was truly a day filled with warmth, connection, and wonderful moments. It was just what I needed, to spend a day in community with like-minded women who were all navigating the beautiful and challenging journey of motherhood, while the children played together.

I really enjoyed the heartfelt conversations and shared stories about our joys and struggles as mothers. It was comforting to hear that I wasn't alone in my experiences, and I gained good insight and advice from the other moms.

Would definitely join again!

I felt lonely and was looking to connect to other mothers out there. This retreat came in perfect timing and form: short one day gathering that allows depth of sharing and connection, but does not uproot from the day-to-day routine. And my husband got a much needed break as well.

The beautiful setting in nature and delicious healthy food added to the healing, bonding, and enjoyment for both me and my little one. Absolutely sure I want to be doing one of these every quarter.

How refreshing it is to be surrounded by such a gathering with other mothers who enjoy and value the time spent with their children.

I truly felt nourished and nurtured by this experience.

A profoundly nourishing day an all Levels for myself and my Baby. Gathering & Sharing among women ~ and mothers in particular ~ feels so healing.

It was important for me to meet my old friends and meet other mothers, sharing feminine energy is a useful practice.

When I signed up for the Sacred Women's Gathering in November I could already feel that it was going to be special.

Now I know that it was a very important step in finding and expressing my truth.

It was a night of sharing in a safe place, and with the orientation of Lehua I was able to express my fears, regrets, hopes and wishes. It was a very intense moment of release but it was, most of all, a moment of alignment with my true self 🤍

So grateful for the opportunity to know other women's stories, that resonate and impact my own story and my life.

We are all connected and it's a beautiful thing 💓

The Sacred Women Gathering was my first experience in a group where I found it so natural, and healing, to share my feelings and thoughts from the bottom of my heart.
